Professional Super Telephoto Lens utilising aspherical lens elements and having Fluorite, UD and DO elements. Image Stabilisation, Full Time Manual Focus and Super Spectra coatings are also featured with this optic. The magnesium alloy construction keeps the lens relatively light in weight.Highest Optical QualityUses a combination of fluorite and ultra-low dispersion (UD) elements to keep distortion and other aberrations to a minimum. SWC (Sub-Wavelength Coatings) are used to drastically reduce internal reflections which cause ghosting and flare.Extra Fast and Quiet Focus with Image StabiliserState of the art focusing control is employed in this lens, including Ring USM which controls the focus ring ultrasonically for an ultra-fast, near-silent focus. A two speed Power Focus mode is also included which is ideal when applied to video recording. For times when you need to be in full control there is Full Time Manual Focus which is an override which can still be used in AF mode. The Image Stabiliser on this lens has several modes and gives up to four extra stops, especially useful when shooting sports or as light levels fade. Includes IS Mode 3, which is suited more to panning and only engages when the shutter button is pressed.Supplied with Lens Hood (ET-138 WII), Lens Cap and Lens Case 500B.Additional Specifications(Main Specs under Features tab)Lens Construction: 16 Elements in 12 GroupsAngle of View: 4° (H), 2°45'(V), 5° (Diag)Minimum Aperture: f/32Aperture Blades: 9Close Focus: 3.7m (0.15x magnification)Weather Resistance: Dust and MoistureCompatible with EF 1.4x and EF 2x Converters: Yes

Part of the top line L series of Canon's finest quality optics, the 100mm f/2.8 L Macro lens features image stabilisation with angle and shift detection, especially useful at close range.L series QualityThe lens embodies Canon's highest standards of L-series optics, build quality, reliability and operability. A robust construction includes dust and moisture resistant seals to protect against harsh weather conditions.Hybrid Image StabilizerThis Image Stabilizer is designed specifically for inclusion in a macro lens. It is able to correct lens shift movement as well as the angular movement that most IS systems can correct. This provides 2-stops of correction during 1.0x magnification, increasing to 3-stops at 0.5x magnification and 4-stops during normal shooting.Ultra low dispersion (UD) lens element ensures high image qualityA UD element within the lens design effectively removes chromatic aberration. This allows for excellent image quality with high resolution, high contrast and excellent colour reproduction.Focus limiter switchTo enhance the photographer’s use of the lens, it is fitted with a 3 position focus limiter switch. With limits for close up subjects, distant subjects and all subjects, the user is able to increase the autofocus speed making quick shots a possibility.Beautiful background blur with 9 blade circular apertureA circular blade aperture helps to create attractive, even background bokeh when isolating subjects at wide apertures.Fast quiet auto focusThe ring USM (Ultrasonic Motor) drives extremely rapid auto focus with near-silent operation. Full time mechanical manual focus override is available without having to switch out of AF. The lens offers a minimum focusing distance of 0.3m.The above information is detailed on Canon's website:http://www.canon.co.uk (opens a new window)Additional SpecificationsLens Construction: 15 elements in 12 groupsAngle of View: 19.8° x 13.5° (23.4° diagonal)Diaphragm Blades: 9 (circular)Minimum Aperture: f32Close focus: 0.3m (1:1 magnification)Image Stabilisation: 4 stops (normal), 3 stops at 0.5x magnification, 2 stops at 1.0x magnificationAF Actuator: Ring USMProtection: Dust and Moisture

The Canon EF 35mm f2 IS USM is a classic 35mm prime lens with a wide f/2 maximum aperture making it ideal for low-light photography, as well as featuring an aspherical element for improved image quality. It also features four stops of image stabilisation and Ultrasonic AF for fast and accurate focusing.Fantastic Image QualityThe 35mm f/2 lens is either a wide angle lens for 35mm format cameras or equivalent to a 56mm standard lens on APS-C format DSLRs. Being a prime lens, image quality is first rate and is further enhanced by the inclusion of a moulded aspherical glass element.Ideal for Low Light and Fast OperationHaving a wide maximum aperture of f/2 allows you to shoot in dimmer conditions with faster shutter speeds and with the added benefit of a brighter viewfinder image. Add to this another four stops of image stabilisation as compared to a lens without IS, and you’ll be able to shoot atmospheric shots in very low light without the need for flash, without worrying about camera shake.Control Depth of FieldAnother advantage of a wide maximum aperture is its shallow depth of field. If this is not desired then you can simply stop down for a greater depth of field. There is also an eight-bladed aperture diaphragm so any that defocused areas will be rendered pleasingly smooth even when the aperture is stopped down, an effect known as good “bokehâ€.Convenient and Fast focusingThe compact dimensions of this lens make it super-handy for everyday and reportage shooting. When you need that image instantaneously, you will appreciate the fast, near-silent USM autofocus. The Canon EF 16-35 f/4L IS is a professional grade zoom lens. Suitable for covering a wide variety of areas, including wedding photography, landscape photography, architecture and street photography.Smaller and lighter than its f/2.8L stablemate, the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L also has a constant aperture and is sharp throughout its entire zoom range. Utilising Canon image stabilisation (IS) for up to four stops of compensation the difference in aperture between this version and the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM only accounts for one stop of light. The f/2.8 version has an advantage, but lacks IS and only outperforms in terms of depth of field and with moving subjects in lowlight. Featuring a 9-curved blade aperture design, it also produces beautiful out-of-focus highlights, delivering less-pronounced DSLR shallow depth-of-field look. The 16-35mm f/4L at its widest aperture will still allow creators to create some attractive separation between the subject and the foreground and background. Weather-sealed and constructed from premium metal and glass, the 16-35mm f/4L IS shines when paired with a full-frame DSLR camera such as the EOS 6D Mark II or 5D Mark IV. However, it will also work very well with APS-C Canon DSLR cameras without the need for an adapter or converter. When paired with a smaller sensor camera, such as the Canon 80D or 7D Mark II, this lens will produce a focal range closer to 25-55mm; losing some width but gaining in reach. This is worth considering if you own a cropped sensor camera but still want the quality offered by the 16-35mm f/4L IS. The ring-type Ultrasonic motor of the 16-35mm f/4L delivers fast, accurate and near silent autofocusing. But it also offers manual override so that users can take over control of focusing without having to physically turn off the autofocusing function. A close focusing distance of 0.28m will allow creators to get close to their subjects and still enjoy a wide field of view. A popular focal length among professional photographers and filmmakers, the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L USM is a fantastic investment for anyone who is keen to build their kit and requires a more affordable, compact and lightweight alternative to the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM. If you add this lens to your collection it will hold its value well and provide many years of use, offering premium build and image quality for both stills and video.
