Alessi Coffee cup White Ceramic H 6.5 cm -Ø 4 cm - cl 6.5 - Saucer 14 x 10 cm ' It caffé Alessi is a collection of cups coming from the operation Tea & Coffee Towers presented in 2003. This one had for object the creation of services to coffee and to tea by the biggest international architects, confronted for the first time to the design of objects. These products almost realized in silver and in limited edition to 99 copies became collection pieces. So that this extraordinary conceptual effort is now available for the general public, Alessi asked the authors of Tea & Coffee Towers to draw cups to moka in porcelain. Cups in which ones is condensed the spirit creation that animated their initial project and some measures to offer to all, the surprise and the aesthetic pleasure. This set of two cups E-Li-Li was conceived by the great architect Massimiliano Fuksas and his wife Doriana. Realized in porcelain China bone, an appreciated porcelain for his lightness and transparency and characterized by his warm ivory color , these cups offer us the pleasure awaited and wished by Alessi! The items are multifunctional: for example the saucer can be used for both the mocha cup and the tea cup, or can be used as a plate for a dessert or a side dish.
