Spécimen Editions Vase Concrete grey Metal L 13 cm x W 13 cm x H 22 cm With the «weight» vases, Decha Archjananun comes back to the essence of the functionnality. At the top, the thin line in steel holds the stem straight. At the bottom, the base in concrete contains water. In the middle, nothing but the stern, unusually exposed. A vision shared probably by the writer Flaubert, who told about roses: « a flowering thorn spreaded its bunch of roses ». The collection of weight vases is composed of four pieces from different sizes.Graduated Bachelor of Architecture from KMITL (one of Thailand's leading universities) and from the University of Art and Design Lausanne (ECAL- Switzerland), Decha Archjananun founded the studio Thinkk in 2007 with Ploypan Theerachai. Thinkk has received many awards, including the Furniture Design Award in Singapore and the ELLE Decoration Thailand Design Award. In 2009, the studio was nominated as finalist of Thai designers of the year.

A collaboration of a mixed group of graduates from the 3D Design and Metals program at Cranbrook Academy of Art, working together for a week in the metal shop exploring techniques and forms.
