Driade Kosmo Tableware set White Ceramic Size of the composition : L 45 cm x W 35 cm x H 9 cm With my eyes closed, I feel with my hands what is flowing and floating. That's how artist Xie Dong responds when asked to describe her work, sculpting rippling water or curling leaves in glazed bone china. She produces them in an artists' district on the outer fringes of Beijing, where she shares a 4,000-square-foot studio with her boyfriend, a sculptor and landscape designer, and their four cats. A graduate of the Chinese capital's Art and Design Institute, she experimented with various mediums before settling on ceramics. Her Adelaide collection of poetic dinnerware and vases is named after one of the owners of Driade : bearing names such as Ripple, Wrinkled Paper, Melting Ice, and Ocean Creatures... Handcrafted - With artist's signature

Driade Kosmo Soup plate White,Blue Ceramic Ø 22 cm x H 4 cm The White Snow, designed by Antonia Astori in 1996, is not just an impeccable dinner service in white porcelain. The fine white china blooms with the English Roses that we were used to seeing on fabrics and cushions in romantic Old English cottages. However, this refined vision is combined with an entirely contemporary process of de-contextualization and fragmentation: the motif in fact works by parts. The overall image is recomposed by addition, and it can only be seen in its entirety with all five plates that make up the dinner service. A single branch is laid on each plate, an isolated bud, a flower in full bloom. Laudani&Romanelli return to the theme and deliberately play with the great tradition of bourgeois dinner services in white and blue. The result is in some way a timeless design. Together, the five pieces of the dinner service compose a floral harmonious group
