Most of the pieces have been extended with variations which make the tunes a more suitable length for performances. Allan Alexander has also included four pages of extensive performance notes on the pieces in the book to give you the opportunity to place the piece in its historical and musicological context. Every tune in the book is also included on the digitally mastered CD. Though the tunes are very effective as solo material they are made even more spectacular with guitar accompaniment.
