Legend - Theme - Chorale-The title Ex Tribus Fontis (Latin for ‘from three sources’) refers to the three sources of inspiration that were used for this composition. The legend of Saint Donatus patron saint of the commissioning band describes how he and his soldiers prayed to God during a losing battle the result of which being a thunderstorm which annihilated the Teutonic opponents. This three movement piece is extremely impressive and very much suitable for both concerts and contests. The title Ex Tribus Fontis (Latin for ‘from three sources’) refers to the three sources of inspiration that were used for this composition. Voices Rising Series-British singer songwriter Dodie says I wrote this for a friend who I heard was going through a rough time. Today though I sang it for myself. This song offers a proactive opportunity for you and your students to discuss ways to deal with worry and anxiety. This is a powerful message set to an equally powerful melody. This is the first in an exciting new series curated by Carrie Tennant.
