Eine Stadt in Bewegung-This piece describes the daily madness of traffic in a city full of cars noise and exhaust fumes. Even in the countryside the 'monster on four wheels' has already arrived and is destroying idyllic villages. In the middle of the composition we experience a traffic jam where some drivers tend to behave in a very primitive way! This work is dedicated to all those who are affected by or are suffering from the overpowering proliferation of traffic. This work will 'drive' your audiences crazy with excitement !!

All roads lead to Rome as the saying goes - but do all roads also lead to Ixtlan perhaps at another time? Ixtlan being the city of the highest aspirations of the Mexican sorcerer Don Genaro (according to Carlos Casteneda the anthropologist publishing a series of books on Don Juan Don Genaro's col-league ). There was no final outcome to Genaro's journey and there will never be one. I will never reach Ixtlan he said so Genaro is still on his way there.(Ixtlan may perhaps be interpreted as the inner goal of your heart). In any case: in these three movements the three points of departure are utterly different: still they unanimously move towards just one melodic outcome akind of musical centre of gravitation. Nico Muhly 's Time After Time scored for Soprano Saxophone Marimba and Percussion. The work was composed in 2003 and lasts around 8 minutes. Time After Time was composed for the Yesaroun’ Duo (comprising multi-percussionist Sam Solomon & saxophonist Eric Hewitt) and marimbist Nancy Zeltsman. Muhly states that he set out to write a piece that was primarily energetic and rhythmically challenging enough for two percussionists and one honorary percussionist to play. The title refers to the fact that all the material recycles itself at different speeds. The Marimba’s long quasi-chorale lines proceed initially without noticing the rhythmic shifts and upheaval below. Halfway through the piece a jagged Marimba solo features the instrument’s precise dance-like qualities and after being joined by the Saxophone and Percussion propels the whole ensemble towards the rhythmic and harmonic excesses of the final section.

Organ Solo Mass- The Mass K.259 known as the Organ Solo Mass on account of an important organ passage in the Benedictus will have been written around 1775/76. On l7th May 1778 the Prince-Archbishop Colloredo consecrated his cousin Anton Theodor Count Colloredo-Mels und Wallsee Archbishop of Olmütz. The Prince of the Church had not commissioned a Mass for the consecration and had left the choice up to Leopold Mozart who assumed the office as Kapellmeister in that week. Leopold reported on this to his wife and son in Paris on 28th May 1778: 'l did the one of Wolfg [sic]: Mass with the organ solo: but the kyrie from the Spaur Mass; had it written and duly got the 6ducats. Concert March-For this spirited concert march the creative and lively mind of the great Italian mathematician physicist and astronomer Galileo Galilei who lived from 1564 to 1642 served as a source of inspiration. Galileo was the founder of experimental thinking in physics and he made numerous discoveries and formulated many useful theories in this field. His reluctance to unquestioningly accept established authorities and ideas was also typical of his inventive mind. Moreover Galileo was more accessible to the common people. He tried to encourage them to think for themselves and he published his research results in the form of dialogues that were easy to understand. This accessibleconcert march - a suitable homage to Galileo - builds a bridge between the musician and the listener.

Trinity Sunday Mass- The Missa in honorem SS:mae Trinitatis K.167 is Mozart's only mass bearing a dedication in its title and the only one written for chorus and orchestra without vocal soloists. We do not know the occasion for which the mass was written although it was undoubtedly related to the dedication. Perhaps it was first performed on Trinity Sunday 1773 since the autograph bears the date Giugno 1773 and Trinity Sunday fell an 5 June that year. The heavy scoring - for two oboes two clarini two trombe timpani two violins bass and organ - suggests that the mass owes its origin to a special festivity. The German singer and actor Herbert Grönemeyer has remained faithful to his own style since the beginning of his career in the eighties yet still managed to further develop his craft and himself all the while remaining successful. His albums sell well and his concerts especially in Germany are frequently sold out. Wolfgang Wössner chose four diverse songs from Grönemeyer’s extensive repertoire (Männer Mensch Flugzeuge im Bauch and Mambo) creating a medley that remains exciting to the very end.
