Avec des accents typiquement espagnols et des couleurs vives la musique se révèle attrayante captivante et délicieusement agréable.Octavi Ruiz est un homme passionné de musique un promoteur de la culture de l’enseignement et de l’éducation musicale : un bâtisseur un prophète en son pays. Octavi Ruiz est le directeur musical de la Societat Musical La Lira Ampostina (l’Orchestre d’Harmonie La Lira Ampostina) d’Amposta une ville située dans la province de Tarragone en Espagne. Pour célébrer ses vingt-cinq ans de direction les musiciens de l’orchestre ont chargé Ferrer Ferran decomposer une œuvre en son honneur.Alors qu’Octavi n’était encore qu’un enfant son grand-père Agustí Ruiz Tomás prédit qu’un jour son petit-fils serait directeur de cet orchestre. Dès sa plus tendre enfance Octavi accompagnait son grand-père à tous les concerts de prestige. Après avoir entendu de grandes formations musicales il lui dit un jour : « Grand-père à Amposta nous sommes à des années-lumière de ces musiciens. » Celui-ci lui répondit : « Oui mon garçon mais un jour viendra où La Lira Ampostina jouera comme ces orchestres-là et pourra également participer à de prestigieux concours. »À force de persévérance Octavi Ruiz a réussi petit à petit à hisser sa magnifique phalange de musiciens au plus haut niveau comme son grand-père l’avait prédit.
