This is our house Paisley design in a fine cotton jacquard weave, in which the pattern is rendered by the weave. A subtle, classic and distinguished piece in a slim fit with three button cuff.

The Peacocks of Grantham Hall is an original drawing by John Malkovich which he created while on location for the series 'Blackbeard' in-between a very hectic filming schedule. John is an Oscar-nominated actor, director and producer for both cinema and theatre. He has starred in such films as 'Dangerous Liaisons', 'Being John Malkovich', 'In the Line of Fire' and 'Empire of the Sun'. He is the designer of a menswear line called 'Technobohemian' and has often used Liberty fabrics in his collections. The design of this Liberty print is loosely based on a detail from a fabric remnant that he observed at a costume fitting for a film. Grantham Hall is an English Manor House in Kent. The design follows the fashion for birds within prints during this period and shows peacocks sitting on grass.

This Liberty print called Heidi is inspired by the hatched style of drawing of Redfern's garments within 'The Queen'. The design was hand drawn in pencil from garden pansies before being transferred into a repeat with Rotring pens – felt tips add the touches of colour. A princely shirt indeed with its Liberty lined collar and cuffs and mother of pearl branded buttons.

This is without a doubt my favourite shirt of the season. A very fine Italian jacquard renders a pattern of original Space Invaders! What can one say? It's fun, charming and very cool. These key seasonal pieces tend to sell out quite quickly so please order promptly to avoid disappointment.
