I do love a herringbone weave. It has such a rich and noble provenance, and is so effortlessly graceful. I slightly prefer Armagnac to Cognac. Henry Miller to Anaïs Nin. Artaud to Huysmans and Brice Marden to Frank Stella. But it's close in all cases. I also happen to think Maurice Cockrill was really onto something significant since, well, Titian. This garment is dry clean only. The dobby weave produces a luxurious fabric with more texture than a plain weave, and is naturally cease resistant.
