Through the use of environmentally friendly silver ions Polygiene kills bacteria on contact. In fact Poloygiene is currently being used in British hospitals to help prevent the spread of MRSA. What this means for you the rider is an odour free, longer lasting, fresh feeling lining; minus all those nasty bacteria's. The BSEN 1384 riding hat standard has recently been withdrawn by the governing body in charge of standard regulation. If you are a leisure rider and you do not compete, you will not be directly affected by this change as it is still a safe standard of hat to use. However, please ensure you check with any insurance companies or riding establishments that your standard of hat meets their requirements. If you are a competition rider and you ride in affiliated competitions, you must confirm with the governing body under whose rules you compete what standards are acceptable to them before entering the competition.
