Colnago racing geometry, developed through years of experience with the greatest champions of the discipline, has proven to be extremely successful – winning many World Cups and World Championships. The A1r CX has all you need for the highest levels of competition.The A1r CX alloy frame is matched with a carbon fibre forks, paired with a lightweight aluminum steerer tube, and designed specifically for use with disc brakes. Colnago’s tapered head tube design is aimed at creating a solid front end that contribute to the A1r's handling precision and safety. It is built up with Shimano 105 gear componentry, with 36/46T rings up front and a 11-28T in the back - a popular CX ratio. It is fitted with Colnago Artermis 24 wheel, handlebars and stem, with a Selle Italia Qbik saddle perched on top of an alloy Colnago seat post. Braking power is provided by SRAM BB5 mechanical disc brakes. Post-mount disc brakes come standard on the A1r CX - providing maximum power for shortened stopping distances, and ease of maintenance.
