It combines high grade, lightweight materials with great ride quality.Aksium Disc uses straight pull spokes for added stiffness and strength, fixed to pin joint and lightweight rims specifically designed for disc brake use. This maintains a high reactivity and ease of spinning. To withstand the stress of disc brakes, we’ve also increased the spoke count to 24 on both front and rear. And they’re crossed three on both sides to make sure the braking torque is securely transferred all the way to the ground.At 17mm internal width, these rims are compatible with tyres up to 32mm, making them versatile, comfortable, safe and great for traction.

The front hub is easily converted from a regular quick release to a 15mm through axle bolt using the provided adapters.And three versions are available to meet every disc and cassette standard: International Standard 6 Bolts in Shimano/Sram and Campagnolo, and Center Lock® in Shimano/Sram.Matching Yksion Elite tyresKsyrium Disc comes with our well-balanced Yksion Elite tyre in 25mm. Their special compound provides a great balance of low rolling resistance and secure cornering grip, dry or wet. The supple 120TPI casing also helps reduce rolling resistance while improving comfort. And at just 215g in a comfortable 25mm section, they perfectly match the rim’s ability to accelerate and climb at ease. Yksion Elites are also available separately in 23mm (205g) and 28mm (230g).
