The Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS UMC II for Sony E is the new Mark II (Mk 2) version with the gearing moved, so all newest lenses have the gearing in the same place for convenience on professional follow focus systems. The VDSLR II versions of the award winning 24mm lens has been specifically designed for Video / Cine purposes. This means that the aperture ring has been de-clicked providing ultra smooth and quiet control together with a geared focus ring (for follow-focus module attachment). Superior quality manual focus lens for both APS-C sized or Full frame sensor cameras. The Samyang 24mm VDSLR II lens features UMC multi-coated optics, 13 elements in 12 groups with 4 ED and 2 aspherical lens elements. These combine to produce outstanding optical performance, with faithful colour reproduction and minimal chromatic aberration. This Samyang lens is relatively compact with a robust metal construction. Comes with a detachable lens hood. The new Mark II (Mk 2) versions feature revised placement of the focus and aperture gearing, so all newest lenses have the gearing in the same place for convenience on rigs and professional follow focus systems.Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS UMC VDSLR (Video DSLR) versions have been developed primarily for professional cine / movie making purposes where high quality fast prime lenses are the primary requirement. The VDSLR version feature follow focus gearing and decoupled aperture, which allow the user to smoothly and quietly change focus and aperture / depth of field whist filming, and link to professional follow focus cam systems. The aperture and focus scale has also been relocated to the side of the lens to improve visibility of the scale. The 24mm VDSLR version is compatible with full frame or APS-C sized sensors and are available in Canon, Nikon, Sony A, Sony E, Pentax K mounts and Micro Four Thirds (MFT). It is ideal for full-frame cameras, constituting a high-quality wide-angle lens perfect for street, landscape and architecture shooting even in low light conditions. Photographers using Canon DX / APS-C sensors will get approx 38mm field of view (35mm equivalent) suitable for journalist and general photography. Movie camera lenses are rated by a T-number instead of an F-stop. The F-stop expresses the speed of the lens on the assumption that lens transmits 100% of the incident light. The T-number expresses the actual light transmission. The sharpness is excellent, even at the edges of the frame at wide apertures, and the fast T1.5 aperture is able to give a narrow depth of field for separating subjects from the background, and enabling faster shutter speeds in low light conditions.Samyang 24 mm T1.5 VDSLR is a manual focus lens. The focus ring features toothed rings compatible with professional geared follow focus systems available in the film industry and likewise a toothed, decoupled (de-clicked) aperture ring. Such modifications allow for smooth and precise control over focus and aperture during video recordi

The Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS Lens for Sony E-Mount (APS-C) is a wide-angle prime lens designed specifically for use with APS-C format image sensors. It is a high performing lens, especially suited to cameras fitted with a high resolution sensor (above 24MP). Providing a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 18mm and a broad 98.9° angle of view, this lens is well-suited for architectural, interior, and landscape images. Its fast f/2.0 maximum aperture is beneficial to working in low-light conditions. One aspherical element, one hybrid aspherical element and three elements made of low dispersion glass have been incorporated into the optical design to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion for sharper, high contrast imaging throughout the frame.Additionally, a Nano Coating System (NCS) has been applied to the lens elements in order to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and ghosting. A six-blade aperture closes to create a near full circle and the lenses minimum focus distance is 7.9. The lens barrel is built with aluminium alloy with a 67mm diameter filter thread and includes a removable petal-style lens hood.

The Samyang 85mm f/1.4 Aspherical IF Lens for Sony E-Mount Cameras is a compact telephoto prime lens that is compatible with both full frame and APS-C formats and provides a focal length equivalence of 127.5mm when used on Sony E-mount APS-C mirrorless digital cameras. The fast, bright f/1.4 maximum aperture is effective in low light situations and provides shallow depth of field control. This manual focus and manual exposure lens features an internal focusing mechanism that maintains the overall lens length during focusing and does not rotate the front of the lens, making it well-suited for use with polarizers or graduated neutral density filters. One aspherical element is incorporated into the optical design to minimize chromatic aberrations and produce imagery with a degree of sharpness and clarity. A UMC multi-coating has also been applied to lens elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich images. The lens optical construction comprises of 9 lenses divided into 7 optical groups with one aspheric lens element. The Samyang 85mm is designed with internal focusing (IF) meaning the lens does not increase in size when focusing. A further positive aspect to internal focusing is that the lens is much less likely to get dust inside, as opposed to external focusing (or zooming) lenses which can suck in dirt during use. The 8 bladed aperture design aids a great bokeh character at near wide open apertures.Additional FeaturesTelephoto prime lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 127.5mm when used on a Sony E-mount APS-C mirrorless digital camera.Fast f/1.4 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions and provides greater control over focusing for selective focus and shallow depth of field imagery. One aspherical element has been integrated into the lens' design to help reduce chromatic aberrations and contribute to high overall sharpness.Manual focus design incorporates an internal focusing mechanism that maintains the overall length of the lens when focusing.Eight-blade rounded diaphragm produces an aesthetic out-of-focus quality that is well suited to shallow depth of field applications.
