Haydn's Symphony Hob. I:89 belongs to a group of symphonies composed between the “Paris” symphonies (Hob. I:82-87) and their “London” counterparts (Hob. I: 93-104) – the last ones he wrote before his trips to England in 1791-92 and 1794-95. The Symphony in F major is dated 1787 in the autograph score. In this work Haydn borrowed two movements from an earlier piece possibly owing to deadline pressure. The second and fourth movements are arrangements of movements 2 and 3 from his Concerto in F major Hob. VIIh:5 for two “lire organizzate” and orchestra. The fact that he also arranged movements from his other lire concertos suggests that he regarded them as a sort of musicalquarry. Cantata for the 3rd Sunday after Trinity- Ich Hatte Viel Bekümmernis - Lord My God My heart And Soul Were Sore Distrest BWV 21. Cantata for the 3rd Sunday after Trinity. The cantata “Ich Hatte Viel Bekümmernis” dates from around 1713 and was probably performed for the first time that year in the Liebfrauenkirche in Halle. Its assigning to the third Sunday after Trinity probably only occurred the following year. With its large-scale structure and strong emphasis on biblical texts it was extremely popular in the 19th century and remains one of Bach ’s best-known cantatas today. It was later performed again for the birthday of Duke Ernst August of Saxony-Weimar (the co-regent of Duke Wilhelm Ernst). Bach's score employs taut musical forms; noteworthy - and entirely characteristic of Bach's early style - is the dominant role of the continuo in recitatives and arias. The introduction depicts the take-off which is then embellished by the following section marked ‘energico’.The second movement is an attractive setting of the flight itself. The slow section depicts a star-filled night sky. The close presents the landing at dawn: the flight is over.A beautiful and exciting musical journey!

Dance from The Danserye Suite-Tylman Susato (approximately 1500-1561) was an accomplished Flemish composer musician and music publisher. He composed numerous works and published several collections among them Danserye (1551) the third volume of his Musyckboexken which contained his own four-voice airs and dances. Several of these were inspired by traditional Flemish airs. Renaissance scholar Manu Mellaerts has created a graceful arrangement of the most famous pieces from La Mourisque.

French composer Henri Busser entered the Paris Conservatoire in 1889. He won the 1893 Prix de Rome and led a highly successful career as a composer conductor teacher and organist. His compositions for a variety of instruments are exceptional Andalucia for Flute and Piano being no exception. As reflected in Andalucia which is named after the popular Spanish area of the same name Busser 's compositional style was sophisticated yet true to the 19th century French tradition. Elements of Andalucia include chromaticism exploitation of tonality complex rhythms and semiquaverflourishes amongst other aspects. For all advanced Flute players Busser 's Andalucia is essential to a varied repertoire.

Bach made considerable alterations to the text when setting it. Dvo ák ’s Serenade In E Major for String Orchestra is one of his most popular and frequently played works. It was written in the spring of 1875 when he had just experienced his first successes at the conductor’s podium and had received a state arts scholarship. The score and parts were published by Bote & Bock Berlin in 1879. This Urtext edition is based on the composer’s autograph score. It corrects mistakes found in the first edition and so for the first time the editor incorporates omitted passages from the autograph marking them with Vi-de.
