Fassung für Sinfonieorchester XL grand format-Version for Symphony orchestra The Requiem of Gabriel Fauré is undoubtedly the most important opus among the sacred works of this French master. Beginning with the first performances during the composer’s lifetime it is one of those works whose popularity has never waned. In the absence of an autograph score a new edition of this work posed a challenge in two important respects: on the one hand to present an edition faithful to the often contradictory sources and on the other to render a clear and meaningful musical text of the work.

The work Pilgrims of Wolfryt tells the story of the legend Walfridus (also known as Wolfryt) a resident of the town of Bedum in the Netherlands who was born in the 11th century. Wilfridus had an eventful life: he introduced Christianity to Bedum and helped the town build its first legal system but ultimately his story ended in demise – murdered alongside his son at the hands of the Vikings. Pilgrims of Wolfryt is a symphonic poem-like masterpiece full of evocative melodies in a mix of tonalities to make the most of the impressive rhythmic material.

Sarah Baker 's Magical Christmas Journey is a wonderful Christmas show that’s full of character great songs warmth and humour. In this lively and entertaining musical the children are almostready for Christmas when the magic begins to happen. They find they have a talking Christmas tree! No sooner do they mention the need for a star to go on top of this tree than they are surrounded by stars - who also seem able totalk - and as if that wasn’t magical enough one of these stars leads the children on an amazing journey during which they find much more than the star to decorate their tree.
