Appalachian Folk Song-This secular work for mixed voices with piano is based on an Appalachian folk tune. Try it with high school voices or a community chorus.

This work was commissioned by the Greenville Chorale (SC) to celebrate the ensemble's fiftieth anniversary and to honor their conductor Bingham Vick. Set to the fifth century words of St. Patrick the work is scored for large chorus with piano or three different instrumentations: wind ensemble brass quartet and full orchestra.Score and parts for each of these instrumentations are available separately.

The pop song Good Vibrations which appeared as a single in 1966 is one of the most celebrated hits of The Beach Boys. The piece composed and produced by Brian Wilson has been called a mini symphony. Various covers versions have been made including a marvellous a cappella version by the King’s Singers. This arrangement for brass band written by Don Campbell is just as delightful as the original.

Wieniawkski's Dudziarz (The Bag-pipe Player) is a characteristic mazurka for violin and piano. This is a spirited violin miniature with a simple piano accompaniment against a more intricate melody line. The solo violin part is also included on a separate insert.

This Orchestral score and instrumental parts have been arranged by Frank Naylor for school and amateur Orchestras. This set includes a conductor’s score and instrumental parts as well as Piano accompaniment elementary Violin Alto and Tenor Saxophone and 3rd Violin. With the composition of the Thunder and Lightning Polka Johann Strauss completed the elevation of the polka from an Eastern European peasant romp to a dance form embraced by Vienna’s most fashionable circles. The ‘Waltz King’ was also a prolific composer other dance music: gallops and polkas marches and quadrilles. His sparkling dazzling Thunder and Lightning quick polka has become such a favourite in therepertoire that it is played every year – along with The Blue Danube – in the Vienna Philharmonic’s New Year’s Day Concert. The programmatic scoring evokes elemental weather events through the extensive use of timpani and the clashing of cymbals szforzandi and dramatic accents. The piece ends with as much excitement and energy as it begins not flagging for a second.

Luciano Pavarotti lost his battle with cancer aged 71 on the 6th September 2007 and this album has been released as a tribute to him and has been arranged for Voice and Piano. As well as the music it also includesan 18 page timeline obituary and photographs illustrating the highlights of the tenor's life. In this exuberant solo work the principal idea is an arching melody that explores the full range of the instrument.

Eduardo Sainz de la Maza was both a successful guitarist and important composer. Although well known for his arrangements of Spanish folk songs it is his original works which are seen as most significant today. His musical language is described as eclectic combining impressionistic influences with Spanish musical traditions. Jazz was also an influence although much of his music is described as intimate and lyrical as depicted by Platero y yo Suite one of the most notable compositions for the guitar of the 20th Century within this unique collection of works.

The group Teach-In from the Netherlands won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1975 with the song Ding-a-Dong. It was the fourth time that a Dutch entry had won the prestigious festival but since then no Dutch artist has even come near first place again. The original Ding-a-Dong was performed in keeping with tradition with the accompaniment of a large orchestra. This sparkling arrangement of the catchy song provides a cheerful note in every concert. The melody will certainly stay in the audience’s memory long after the performance.
