So many times we only give young choirs high-energy songs that are jubilant in nature but children also have a quiet thoughtful side as well. Cindy Berry turns to scripture to remind the children to listen with their hearts tothe still small voice of God. This song can be sung in unison or can be enhanced by the easy second part. There is something precious about hearing the voices of children sing the timeless promises of God. Effective!

The title is most likely a vague allusion to Cnossus Knossos or Gnossos an ancient city on the island of Crete - the site of the palace of the mythical King Minos and the labyrinth where the Minotaur was confined - richly associated in ancient Greek mythology with Jupiter Ariadne and Theseus the hero who slew the Minotaur.
