Heart rate belt for ANT+ and Bluetooth SmartThe water resistant heart rate belt by Tacx is one of the few sensors that communicates wirelessly via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart. This means you can use it in combination with many other devices, such as a sports watch, sport applications on a smartphone and a tablet, a Garmin device and a Tacx trainer, making performance tracking a lot easier and more fun.The sensor transmits your heart rate information wirelessly via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart technology. You can use the Heart rate belt with the Tacx Smart trainers, but also when cycling outside or doing other sports such as running and fitness.

Just like the Genius Smart, the i-Genius Multiplayer Smart uses the most advanced resistance unit and software which analyses performance and simulates bike courses very accurately. The wireless motor brake converts the properties of the terrain into resistance on the bike, in a highly realistic manner. The bike route is displayed on your screen. The motor brake is able to apply a maximum power of 1500 W to the back wheel and will speed up during a descent. The slopes simulated are realistic up to 20% and down to -5% for descents. The i-Genius Multiplayer comes with the Upgrade Smart to connect to a Windows PC and use the Tacx Trainer software 4, Advanced and a BlackTrack to allow free steering in the TTS 4. The i-Genius Multiplayer Smart communicates via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart for convenient training sessions using your smartphone or tablet. Performance data can be viewed on several devices simultaneously, including your smartphone, bike computer and sports watch.When the i-Genius Multiplayer Smart isn’t connected to a smartphone, tablet or computer, it behaves as a fluid trainer. This means the trainer behaves progressively: when your speed increases, the resistance increases as well. So it is possible to use this trainer in a “stand-alone” status.

This Tacx sensor measures your speed and cadence and transmits this information wirelessly via ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart technology to the devices it is linked to, such as a smartphone, tablet, sports watch, GPS device, bike computer or Tacx trainer. Many sports devices used during training either use ANT+ or Bluetooth, but not both. The Speed & Cadence sensor uses both communication techniques, enabling you to keep track of your performance any way you want.Connect the sensor, for example, simultaneously to your smartphone via Bluetooth and to your sports watch via ANT+.
