Johannes Brahms ' Violin Concerto written for his friend Joseph Joachim has remained a standard in the concert literature since its first performance. No scholarly critical edition of this work has ever been published and therefore the many sometimes conflicting sources have never been evaluated for a critical performing edition. Not only Brahms ' autograph score solo part and autograph Piano reduction but also his personal copies of the first edition score as well as the first edition orchestral parts have all been consulted. Starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer it was narrated by Robert Mitchum and is based on events relating to the Gunfight at the OK Corral and the subsequent Wyatt Earp Vendetta both of which took place in Tombstone Arizona.The theme is crime political corruption and law enforcement in the American west during the 1880s. The score was by Bruce Broughton and this selection features music from the opening and closing credits.

Composed by Masayuki Nagatomi it is quite a difficult series to play and it requires some advanced skills and abilities. The total duration of the set is 5'30 minutes. The pieces are: 1. Wind - which main theme represents a soft and quiet breeze 1'30 2. Fire - fast and violent which can destroy everything and which depicts the flames sometimes big and sometimes smaller 1'30 3. Water and Earth - really slow to start with this part sounds like a river flowing quietly with some part of acceleration The most difficultaspect of this series will probably be to give the correct execution for the audience to recognise each element.

320 Excercises for Snare Drum-In this book you will find a series of rhythmic patterns (motifs) each of which is followed by eight lines of musical exercises in which that rhythmic motif is incorporated. Lines 9 and 10 have been left blank: it is up to you to think of two exercises using the motif concerned to complete the missing staves. With the exercises in the book together with those you have made up yourself you have a total of 320 exercises. They are all intended to improve your drumming technique by means of ‘drum gymnastics’. It is better and more effective to play one or two exercises often and thoroughly than to rush through a number of exercises. Only an intensive and carefully built-uptraining programme will lead to the improvement and perfection of your technique - don’t give up too easily keep practising and keep going.
