The Te Deum (H 146) is unquestionably the best known composition of Marc-Antoine Charpentier (1643-1704) especially since its Prélude en rondeau was made the Eurovision signature tune. Although Charpentier set the Te Deum altogether four times this is his only setting employing a military band i.e. trumpets and kettledrums. This brilliant and magnificent piece was frequently played at victory celebrations and other occasions of public jubilation during the 17th century. Even today it is still ideal for festive church services and concerts. The present editionstands at the forefront of scholarship and provides a complete newly edited Urtext of Charpentier's masterpiece. - Full score performance material (BA7593) and vocal score (BA7593-90) available for sale

Let me not to the marriage of true minds- William Shakespeare’s famous sonnet (‘Let me not to the marriage of true minds Admit impediments’) often used at weddings and civil ceremonies is here set to beautiful fresh music by young composer Ed Rex. The mostly homophonic setting employs the composer’s distinctive close harmonies which together with short phrases and natural rhythm serve to add greater meaning to the poignant and moving text. Spells of parallel and contrary motion in the inner parts are intended in some way to reflect important elements of the commitment two people make to each other in marriage or partnership. Sonnet 116 is sure to add an unforgettable moment to a happy couple’s special day and would also be an excellent addition to concerts using a theme of love.

Among the best of Jean Sibelius’ oeuvre are his 1917 compositions The Humoresques . This fabulous and charming concerto was divided into two groups for publication Opus 87 and Opus 89 and demonstrates his sublime skill with the Violin. He uses a considerably smaller Orchestra accompaniment to the Violin in the second group but maintains the subtlety of depth and texture. Though there are traditional elements to all parts of this opus Humoresque No. 4 harks back to the past the most reminiscent of the delicacy of mid-nineteenth century musical miniatures. Virtuosic and challenging the soloist has the opportunity to indulge in a more traditionally exhibitionistic display.Score for String Orchestra and Violin Solo.
