Cantata for the 15th Sunday after Trinity- Jauchzet Gott In Allen Landen - Praise Ye God Throughout Creation BWV 51. Cantata for the 15th Sunday after Trinity. The solo cantata Jauchzet Gott In Allen Landen written around 1730 for the 15th Sunday after Trinity is one of Bach 's best-known cantatas. The scoring for solo Soprano Trumpet Strings and Continuo is unique amongst Bach 's cantatas and has parallels with Italian composers of the period. The enduring popularity of the work is due to the clear and succinct formal structure and not least to the virtuoso Trumpet part and Soprano arias in which the soloists can demonstrate their totalmastery. The cantata is published in a Vocal score based on the New Bach Edition with an idiomatic straightforward Piano reduction by Martin Focke. - Famous work with a festive instrumental sound. - Urtext based on the New Bach Edition. - Clear straightforward Piano reduction. - Study score (TP1051) performance material (BA10051) & Vocal score (BA10051-90) available for sale.

Op. 109- This standard work of the cello literature has been extracted from volume II of the Complete Works for Violoncello and Pianoforte (BA 9096 and BA 9097) which was published in 2016. Mendelssohn scholar R. Larry Todd edited the scholarly-critical edition of Song without Words. This work is not based on the surviving autograph manuscript which could not have been the basis for the posthumous first edition but rather on the only plausible source: the German first edition itself. This was published in 1868 as op. 109 and is unquestionably based on an untraceable complete final manuscript perhaps once previously owned by the dedicatee French cellist LisaBarbier Cristiani. The publication is free from editorial amendments and modern performance instructions and provides an excellent basis for musical interpretation.

Based on the hymn tune Dear Lord and Father of Mankind-Sir Hubert Parry (1848-1918) belongs to a forgotten generation of English composers who are often over-shadowed by Sir Edward Elgar and the result has been that much of their work is little played or forgotten. In Parry?s case he is now mostly remembered for his hymn tunes such as Jerusalem and Repton both marvellous melodies of course. The latter first appeared in Parry?s oratorio Judith and was adapted as a hymn tune after the composer?s death. The solo part can be played by a trumpet clarinet or alto saxophone and will give yourchosen soloist a chance to shine.
