This mains wiring kit contains an earth stake, ten metres of external earth wire and ten metres of link cable plus connectors.* Earth stake* 10 metres of external earth wire* 10 metres of link cable* ConnectorsHere are the Top Ten rules to make your electric fence work properly!1 Keep your fence as free from growth as possible – Growth impairs the output of every commercial appliance and results in increased power consumption, especially with battery-driven appliances.2 Make sure that the earthing is optimal.3 Do not connect two conductive plastic wires by tying them – Use special conductors.4 Fence wire/tape/rope must not be broken.5 Use conductive material having the best possible conductivity – i.e. Low resistance.6 Keep fence wire and earthing rod free from rust – Rust is an insulator.7 Weather-beaten or nagged insulators are unsuitable – Causes a high loss of output.8 Ensure connection between the energiser and wire is optimal – Use cable resistant to high voltage for underground feeds.9 With battery-driven energisers, check battery condition regularly.10 Ensure that each point of the fence is live using an electric fence tester.

This fencing kit contains everything you'll need for your first temporary electric fence, except the mains battery. In the starter package is the DP350B energiser which can provide output for up to 600 metres of single strand fencing using four D-cell batteries (6v) and up to 1200 metres using a 12v wet cell battery. Mains is 240 volt. Solar power is 12v. Power output is 1.5v – 2's. See item code 41331 for replacement D-cell batteries. Suitable for strip grazing or paddocks, with adjustable pulse rate from 20 – 60 pulses per minute to increase battery life, earth stake and connections for both battery types included. Delivered complete with 4 x D-cell batteries. If only D-cell batteries are used for a short period an economy tester will not detect the pulse and then a five light fence tester will be needed for this, see code: 41219 or code: 41279. The D-cell battery option is best considered as 'back-up' or for use on a short temporary fence. The fencer gives a higher output with a 12v wet cell car or leisure battery which are readily available and can be re-charged. The package includes 2 end-strainers to ensure tension on the tape, of which 300 metres of 12.5mm white fencing tape on a reel is supplied. This tape has 4 stainless steel strands of wire cross-woven into the tape and one interconnecting conductor which allows all the wires to be re-energised if there is a break in a wire. To carry the fencing tape the pack includes 10 white insulated posts, 87cm tall (above ground). These are easy to erect and tread into the ground via the foot support. When erecting the posts they should be spaced no more than five metres apart. Height quoted is height above ground. There is also a warning sign. The warning is written in several different languages. Recommended spacing in areas of public access is every fifty metres. Warning signs must be displayed every 50 metres where electric fences run along public roads and pathways. If you want power for your fencing our range of energisers provide ample coverage and simplicity of operation. If you're installing an electric fence for the first time then this is a great package to get you started!* DP350B energiser* 10 fencing posts, 87cm high (above ground)* 300 metres of 12.5mm tape on reel* Warning sign* 2 end strainers* 4 D-cell back-up batteriesHere are the Top Ten rules to make your electric fence work properly!1 Keep your fence as free from growth as possible – Growth impairs the output of every commercial appliance and results in increased power consumption, especially with battery-driven appliances.2 Make sure that the earthing is optimal.3 Do not connect two conductive plastic wires by tying them – Use special conductors.4 Fence wire/tape/rope must not be broken.5 Use conductive material having the best possible conductivity – i.e.
