Columbus have designed this fork specifically for year round riders, those who turn out whatever the weather - those who ride with mudguards to help keep themselves, and their bike, clean and dry.HIVER is a monocoque fork constructed from high-quality 3K laminated carbon-fibre.The forged aluminium dropouts have M5 threaded eyes and the total weight is only 400g - only a little more than pure racing fork.To allow the fitment of mudguards, the dropout-to-crown distance is 377mm, so 'long-reach' brakes should be used.The fork is supplied complete with a C.C.L. steering column plug/expander.
