New for 3-part mixed groups! The lovely harmony created by the easy movement of the voice parts provides the perfect setting for the message of harmony and peace stated by the text. 'All nations sing in harmony with one song...that all may live in peace.' Using a classic Beethoven melody as the basis for this simple canonic arrangement Don Moore has created a superb introduction to part singing for young choirs. An optional flute adds a special touch of colour to this wonderful teaching piece.

The Four Noble Truths are the most basic expression of the teaching of Buddha and therefore still form the guidelines for Buddhists to this day. The four truths are Dukkha which describes times of major stress in our lives - birth aging desire and death; Samudaya which describes those parts of our life that induce stress feeling craving desire; Nirodha which tells us how to eliminate those aspects of our lives which induce stress and Magga which describes the eight didciplines which can help us eliminate the origins of stress from our lives. It can be seen from these over-simplified definitions that the Four Noble Truths fall into two pairs the first two describingthe origins of stress and the second two describing how we can reduce stress. To reflect this the four movements of this work are also combined into two pairs - two quick movements and two slow movements. A fascinating work from this great English composer.

Cantata for the 15th Sunday after Trinity- Jauchzet Gott In Allen Landen - Praise Ye God Throughout Creation BWV 51. Cantata for the 15th Sunday after Trinity. The solo cantata Jauchzet Gott In Allen Landen written around 1730 for the 15th Sunday after Trinity is one of Bach 's best-known cantatas. The scoring for solo Soprano Trumpet Strings and Continuo is unique amongst Bach 's cantatas and has parallels with Italian composers of the period. Op. 109- This standard work of the cello literature has been extracted from volume II of the Complete Works for Violoncello and Pianoforte (BA 9096 and BA 9097) which was published in 2016. Mendelssohn scholar R. Larry Todd edited the scholarly-critical edition of Song without Words. This work is not based on the surviving autograph manuscript which could not have been the basis for the posthumous first edition but rather on the only plausible source: the German first edition itself. This was published in 1868 as op. 109 and is unquestionably based on an untraceable complete final manuscript perhaps once previously owned by the dedicatee French cellist LisaBarbier Cristiani. The publication is free from editorial amendments and modern performance instructions and provides an excellent basis for musical interpretation.
