This work was commissioned by two fanfare bands from Loksbergen and Kortenaken in Belgium that have merged to form one single ensemble. This festive work has been constructed using two contrasting elements: a rhythmic fast theme full of character combined with a melodic sensitive and slow theme. The title refers to the enthusiastic fiery character of the opening passage the fast section and the renewed passion and drive that has been created due to the merging of the two bands.

This piece depicts the refined beauty of the Grand Canyon at sunrise and sunset. These are the best times to view the Canyon with the sun low in the sky casting shadows that give depth and form to the vast panorama. Angel’s Gate is one of the many named rock formations in the canyon. The composer has tried to depict the sights and sounds of dawn birdsong in the early morning sky and the gradual revelation of the Canyon itself as sunlight reaches into its rocky depths.Towards the end of the piece to the sound of a tolling bell we are however reminded of the dangers that the beauty of the Grand Canyon so cleverly hides.

It was later performed again for the birthday of Duke Ernst August of Saxony-Weimar (the co-regent of Duke Wilhelm Ernst). Bach's score employs taut musical forms; noteworthy - and entirely characteristic of Bach's early style - is the dominant role of the continuo in recitatives and arias. Chanson triste (Saxophone-Alto & Piano)- French composer Robert Planel (1908-1994) was the son of composer and founder of the Music School of Montelimar Alphonse Planel. Planel junior was an exceptionally accomplished musician reflected in his composition Suite Romantique for Alto Saxophone and Piano. The sixth movement of Suite Romantique Sad Song is a sublime legato piece for intermediate level saxophonists. With a typical performance lasting about three minutes Planel 's Sad Song addresses a wide range chromaticism dotted rhythms dynamics tempo changes key changes and variety inperformance directions. Planel 's Suite Romantique is an exciting addition to the modern repertoire of the Saxophone and cannot be missed by aspiring saxophonists.

Concert Suite-Deliverance is an exciting concert suite by Etienne Crausaz. The first movement is in the style of a siciliana starting out quiet and calmly then slowly building in excitement and energy. The second movement a scherzo allows for colourful sounds and timbres and is full of humorous musical elements and contrasts. The third movement the vivace presents a dialogue between the higher and lower registers of the band with plenty of time changes. Deliverance is an action-packed composition full of colour and contrast.
