This edition of Asturias Sur Des Thèmes Espagnols Op. 84 by Henri Busser is an arranged version for Eb Alto Saxophone and Piano. Edited by Marcel Mule this piece can be played by advanced players in regard to its difficulty the Alto Saxophone score has 4 flats and some accidental alterations. It is divided into six distinctive parts including a Saxophone solo in Cadenza. Henri Busser (1873-1972) was a French classical composer organist and conductor and Marcel Mule (1901-2001) was one of the greatest French saxophonists renowned worldwide for his work on the classicalSaxophone repertoire.

Arranged by Dan Coates the songs in this collection have been carefully selected for the 'kid' in all of us! They span from nursery rhymes to pop songs to themes from favourite television shows like The Simpsons . Songs are arranged for easy piano playing with vocals and guitar chord symbols where necessary.

The idea behind this work was to create an opening piece something to start a concert in an unusual way. The title is a portmanteau word derived from madrigal. The work indeed begins in Renaissance mood however gradually tries to shake of its modal start and by contrasting different instrumental families the work changes into modern clothes.Why not add a little Renaissance splendor to any concert with this unique new work?

Piotta is a lively 6/8 march from well-known concert band composer Franco Cesarini. This exciting and musically witty piece is as impressive rhythmically as it is melodically and will make for an elegant opening to any concert.

Jesu bleibet meine Freude from Cantata 147-Bach’s appointment as the Cantor at Leipzig’s Thomaskirche in 1723 required him to produce a new cantata for every Sunday service. Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring is taken from his Cantata No.147 and is unusually elaborate treated more like an aria than a chorale. It is perhaps the best-loved cantata movement from Bach’s entire output and is a certain crowd pleaser for your concert programme.

Songs II for High Voice and Piano Following the publication of Dvorak's early set of love songs Cypresses (BA9569) all his other songs with piano accompaniment are now appearing in Urtext editions. Songs II includes the mature works from Dvorak's late period. Besides the well-known cycle Love Songs and the less well-known cycle Three Modern Greek Songs the volume also contains some entirely unknown and previously unpublished pieces: Lullaby and the posthumously published Song from The Smith of Lešetín completedby Josef Suk. The songs are presented in chronological order in volumes for high and low voice. Each volume contains the vocal text underlaid in three languages (Cz/Eng/Ger). The Bohemian composer Jan Krtitel Vanhal/Johann Baptist Vanhal (1739–1813) settled in Vienna around 1763. There he wrote several concertos for various instruments of which two for viola have survived. Both are evidently not original compositions but arrangements by Vanhal of some of his own works a common practice of that time. The Viola Concerto in C major is based on Vanhal's cello concerto in the same key. Our new revised edition makes this Concerto available once again. The solo part contains cadenzas for each movement. Composer Richard Comello observed that there is practically no music written for two flutes accompanied by concert band so he composed this delightful piece convinced that this it will fill this little gap in the repertoire. Cantata for the 4th Sunday of Advent- Bereitet die Wege bereitet die Bahn BWV 132 Cantata for the 4th Sunday of Advent. The cantata Bereitet die Wege is one of the few works by Johann Sebastian Bach of which we know fairly well how it came into being. The autograph full score bears the date 1715; Bach therefore composed the piece for the church service given by the Weimar court orchestra (of which he was the concert master) on 22 December the fourth Sunday in Advent in the year 1715. We even know the author of the words: it was the High Ecclesiastical Secretary in Weimar Salomon Franck who wrote the poem especially for thatoccasion and had it printed in his annual cycle of cantata texts entitled Evangelisches Andachtsopfer. - Urtext of the New Bach Edition - Full score & performance material (BA10132) vocal score (BA10132-90) available for sale.
