The idea behind this work was to create an opening piece something to start a concert in an unusual way. The title is a portmanteau word derived from madrigal. The work indeed begins in Renaissance mood however gradually tries to shake of its modal start and by contrasting different instrumental families the work changes into modern clothes. Why not add a little Renaissance splendor to any concert with this unique new work?

Jesu bleibet meine Freude from Cantata 147-Bach’s appointment as the Cantor at Leipzig’s Thomaskirche in 1723 required him to produce a new cantata for every Sunday service. Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring is taken from his Cantata No.147 and is unusually elaborate treated more like an aria than a chorale. It is perhaps the best-loved cantata movement from Bach’s entire output and is a certain crowd pleaser for your concert programme.

The Bohemian composer Jan Krtitel Vanhal/Johann Baptist Vanhal (1739–1813) settled in Vienna around 1763. There he wrote several concertos for various instruments of which two for viola have survived. Both are evidently not original compositions but arrangements by Vanhal of some of his own works a common practice of that time. The Viola Concerto in C major is based on Vanhal's cello concerto in the same key. Our new revised edition makes this Concerto available once again. The solo part contains cadenzas for each movement. Cantata for the 4th Sunday of Advent- Bereitet die Wege bereitet die Bahn BWV 132 Cantata for the 4th Sunday of Advent. The cantata Bereitet die Wege is one of the few works by Johann Sebastian Bach of which we know fairly well how it came into being. The autograph full score bears the date 1715; Bach therefore composed the piece for the church service given by the Weimar court orchestra (of which he was the concert master) on 22 December the fourth Sunday in Advent in the year 1715. We even know the author of the words: it was the High Ecclesiastical Secretary in Weimar Salomon Franck who wrote the poem especially for thatoccasion and had it printed in his annual cycle of cantata texts entitled Evangelisches Andachtsopfer. - Urtext of the New Bach Edition - Full score & performance material (BA10132) vocal score (BA10132-90) available for sale.

Includes parts for Trumpet I and II in B-flat; Trombones I & II in C; Horn in F; Timpani Repertoire for Brass Ensemble and Organ. Suitable for amateur Brass ensembles and non-professional organists. Offers various Brass parts enabling performances with flexible instrumentation. The alternation of Organ and Brass ensemble is in many parts of the world a standard practice in church services and concerts. It is much rarer however to hear the joint performance during entrance and exit processionals as well as chorale preludes. This is due not least to the lack of literature for the combination. This new series “Organ Plus Brass” presentsoriginal works and more importantly new arrangements which are geared towards amateur wind players. The Organ part is manageable for the non-professional organist and can be played on a small or medium-sized instrument. The full score comes with an inserted wind score in C which is also available separately. Wind parts in C and B-flat can also be purchased. The edition enables the performance by Brass Ensembles of varying instrumentation. Volume 1 includes the arrangement of “ Marche Triomphale ” by Théodore Dubois. This composition was originally written for solo Organ and is a part of the popular “Douze pièces nouvelles” which is available under the order number BA 8471.
