Weighing in at over 18 tonnes, the tanks you'll drive have a 6.8 litre supercharged Rolls Royce engine. These powerful engines are what allow the vehicles to navigate the most taxing of terrain. This is exhilarating, challenging and something you will not forget in a hurry! On arrival you will be transformed to look like a real squaddie! Equipped with your Kevlar helmet and your camouflage gear, the only optional bit is the camouflage face paint! This is a one-to-one experience where you will enjoy personal tuition with one of the instructors. Before being marched out to the tank track, you'll be shown the basic controls of the vehicle so you know what you're doing. During your drive, you will come into contact with some pretty large humps and bumps. To begin you'll drive on a flat surface, then some small humps, then onto a few rather large ones, and weather permitting, a 'sheep-dip' drive through water! After your experience, as long as the tank comes back in one piece, you will be awarded a certificate of achievement.

The Mini Monster Truck, as its name suggests, sits 5ft above ground level with wheels that are over 3ft in height and 1.5ft wide! This vehicle really can go anywhere, especially the mud! To begin you will be kitted out in army gear and meet with your instructor who will talk you through a quick safety briefing. Then it will be time to get out there and get behind the wheel! You will have an excellent time learning how to control the vehicle, get out of a few sticky situations and successfully tackle challenging gradients. Your experience will finish with a de-brief.

After you have registered there will be pre-instruction and a safety briefing on military vehicle driving before the action begins. Depending on your chosen location, you will be driving some of the following: an Armoured Personnel Carrier, a Chieftain Main Battle Tank, an Abbot Tank, 250cc Honda Quad Bikes, Stalwart 6 Wheel Drive, Snowcat, Sultan command vehicle, an American Humvee, a Pinzgauer 6 wheel drive all terrain troop carrier, a Ferret ML, a BRDM Russian APC, a BV206 Hagglund, a Bedford MJ 4x4 truck or a 4x4 Land Rover. You will usually spend approximately 10 minutes in each vehicle driving over rough terrain. Programmes, timings and vehicles will vary slightly depending on the location and the availability on the day.

This Euro-Spec monster truck may not be as huge as an American version but the power of 'Black Ice' is still just as mad! This experience gives you the chance to drive three different vehicles. Your session will begin with a safety briefing and an introduction to the vehicles you are going to drive. In your group of three, you will take it in turns to drive the stacked up Jeep and the fully caged Land Rover Defender 90 before going onto 'Black Ice'.
