It's not just about riding as fast as you can, from this trackday you will go home having learned something - for some, it's discovering the true performance of their bike for the first time. It's more importantly for most, it's about taking away new skills that will hopefully make you a better road rider! So if you find yourself watching motorsport on TV or know someone that wishes they were out there racing, this trackday taster voucher is the perfect gift. This voucher includes leather hire, as leathers are required. The idea of being let loose on a circuit can sound intimidating, especially when its your own bike but to get you started you will receive a full safety briefing including track riding techniques. This is followed by three limited speed laps led by a safety car so that you can familiarise yourself with the circuit and learn the racing line. You'll then be free to complete the session at your own speed. Please note this taster session is for riders who have attended up to a maximum of three trackdays before. If you are an experienced trackday rider, please do not book into a taster session as you will not be permitted to take part and will not be offered a refund on your booking. When you come face-to-face with a quad bike, don't underestimate them because of their size - they can be a real handful! You will begin with a full briefing on safety, the vehicle controls and riding techniques. You will have time to build confidence and ability before progressing to a longer, varied and sometimes demanding course. An experienced instructor will be riding with you all the way to advise and demonstrate on how best to tackle some of the challenges. Please note at some locations there is an option to purchase damage waiver insurance on the day of your experience. In the event of an accident the damage waiver will cover all or part of the damage caused to the vehicle(s) however this will not cover damage caused by reckless or negligent driving.
