This really is the ultimate in off-roading. Prepare yourself mentally for an action packed day of off-road mayhem. Learning to ski is a very rewarding and exciting experience, and remember you only do it once! This lesson for beginners, includes a safety brief, introduction to the ski equipment, learning effective warm up techniques, what stance to have when skiiing, how to stop and how to get up if you fall over. You won't be using the ski lift on this course so you will have to side-step up the slope but this will help you gain more confidence in your skis. Then you will descend a short distance so you can practice active balance exercises. Don't worry if you fall over, you're instructor will teach you the quickest and easiest way of getting back up to your feet. You may be asked to arrive up to half an hour before your appointed lesson time to give you time to collect your equipment and get changed. Then you will have an initial safety briefing and you're off to the slopes. This experience is for all levels and abilities so what you will cover during your lesson may differ slightly at each location.
