Moon River was composed by Henry Mancini with lyrics written by Johnny Mercer and received an Academy Award for Best Original Song for its first performance by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. Mercer and Mancini wrote the song for Audrey Hepburn to fit her vocal range. Initially the lyrics started 'I'm Holly like I want to be / like Holly on a tree back home ...'; however they were later changed to fit the theme of the film Breakfast at Tiffany's.

A selection of three hymn tune preludes composed by Francis Jackson and arranged for Organ. Dr Francis Jackson CBE is a British organist and composer. He was born in Malton Yorkshire and received his early education as a Chorister at York Minster under his precursor the legendary Sir Edward Bairstow. Jackson succeeded Bairstow as Organist of York Minster in 1946 a post he held until his official retirement in 1982. His extensive output of sacred and secular music includes canticles anthems hymn tunes organ pieces two acclaimed monodramas an overture a concerto a symphony and solo songs. Jackson's creative output has continued since his retirement.

Wagner's The Ride Of The Valkyries has been skilfully arranged for solo Organ by David Patrick. This exciting version includes some demanding passagework but will prove satisfying when mastered correctly.
