Jan Hadermann is a renowned Belgian composer who's cheerful tunes are known around the world.

The Geuzen Medal is an annual award given to people or organizations who have found unique ways to further democracy in the world and help eliminate dictatorships racism and discrimination. The original Geuzen fought against Spanish imperialism in Holland during the16th century. During the Second World War a group resisting the Nazis also named themselves De Geuzen. Jan de Haan incorporates Psalm 43 sung by a group of condemned prisoners shortly before their execution in 1943 into Geuzen Medal Fanfare composed for the 25th bestowal of this special award.

L’épopée de l’Exodus achèvera de précipiter la fin du mandat des Anglais en Palestine et aboutira à la création de l'Etat d'Israël il y a tout juste soixante ans. La bande originale du film écrite par Ernest Gold fut couronnée par l'Oscar de la Meilleure Musique Originale (1960).

for Fanfare Band Bagpipes and Drums-This impressive work was composed for the Dutch-Friesian city of Leeuwarden which was considered the ‘cultural capital’ of Europe 2018; the composer spent his college years in this city. This festive work for bagpipes drums and fanfare band is based on the melody of the anthem of the province of Friesland. Proud was written for the music event Grutsk which is the Friesian word for proud – hence the title. Various bands have performed on five different stages across the town centre. The finale was performed in a concert held at Wilhelminaplein (Wilhelmina Square) which opened with this work. This world premiere was conducted by the composer himself. The bagpipes areoptional but advisable. As a whole they give the composition a very special sound. Three Famous Movie Melodies-Ennio Morricone is one of the most legendary film music composers of all time. Robert van Beringen has arranged three of Morricone’s best-known themes – ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’ ‘Gabriel’s Oboe’ and ‘Cinema Paradiso – Love Theme’ – in a 5-part flexible arrangement that enables any band to get acquainted with this incredible music.

La Donna è Mobile from Verdi’s opera Rigoletto has recently gained huge popularity through its performance by the three tenors Domingo Pavarotti and Carreras. Add a touch of class to any concert with this fabulous arrangement.

Expérimentateur de génie en rupture avec la tradition tanguera virtuose du bandonéon Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992) révolutionne le langage du tango en le dissociant de la danse. Le tango fait désormais son entrée dans le domaine de la musique de concert. Un soir de 1959 Piazzolla apprend le décès de son père. Il compose un tango pour bandonéon aux caractéristiques inhabituelles : Adíos Nonino . Une œuvre intimiste aux harmonies éthérées qui rompt avec les rythmes traditionnels du tango.

Five movements in techno-pop style. The work begins with Rock March with a few pithy chords over a driving percussion accompaniment. Feeling Free is a slow ballad. Rockarab is devoted to ‘the ship of the desert’ the camel. Little Chi Yan is a very charming romantic song for a sweet little girl. In Disco Lights we hear the stirring sounds of drums and bass guitar while the lights flash in the crowded discotheque.
