SSAA-The familiar Austrian carol is presented here in a tender setting for SSAA voices with keyboard accompaniment. The text is new but vased on the Austrian carol. Close harmonies contrasted by unison sections create added appeal. Stanza two is arranged for 3-part voices with the melody in the soprano. This carol may be performed with the addition of optional strings flute and oboe. Perfect for a celebratory recital or worship service five carols are presented in an exuberant style. A nice contrast is found in the section featuring 'The Holly And The Ivy' set as a warm expressive meditation. The fantasia concludes with a restatement of 'Ding Dong Merrily' in 7/8 meter. Also available as an organ solo 10-033. Jubilant and fun!

This creative and well-constructed music would be useful for a recital or a worship service. Sometimes the melody is stated straight out sometimes it's charmingly disguised or altered. Duration 7:00. Contents: I. Intrada - fanfare-like with trumpet stops II. Andante - solo elaborated melody against strings III. Presto - manuals only until the last note based on the melody in relative minor IV. Toccata - real melody in canon with minor melody from mvt. III between upper voice and pedal. Seven measures of double pedaling.

Based on two carols one Polish one French and conceived for use with children. There is a lesson plan included which suggests things to isolate comment on and practice. But the piece would be appropriate and enjoyable for any level 2 three octave group. (A few outside bells out of a five octave set are used as well.)

Despite looking more difficult this is a great piece for a level 2 group. The eighth notes are in repeated patterns against the melody in the bass clef at first. There is some mild synocopation and plenty of big chords all rung together. A middle reflective section may be played on handchimes. Then the bass clef melody returns against the upper eighth notes. LV martellato shakes and RT give the ringers plenty of variety.

Based on an Israeli folk tune this piece would be fun for any level 3 three octave group. (An optional Bb3 is included.) Includes mallet and LV techniques. Teaching/learning opportunites are provided at the back.

Using only four or five ringers these eleven acclamations could be used as processionals (the first eight measures can be repeated ad lib ) or as interludes or responses. Commissioned by both the Royal College of Canadian Organists and the American Guild of Organists for their joint convention held in Montreal in 2017. The American premiere was on February 23 2018 by Duo Majoya organ duet Marnie Giesbrecht and Joachim Segger. Written months after the birth the composer's son Tallis Sebastian the idea of a series of variations on Tallis’ canon was a no-brainer.” Composed for two wonderful virtuoso organists the piece can be effectively realized on large cathedral size organs or on more modest instruments. The work spans a variety of moods from playful to rather intense not unlike the young boy who provided theinspiration for its theme. Duration: 11:00.
