45 Chorals du petit livre d'Orgue- Part of the Organ collection by J. S. Bach this 7th Volume The Little Organ Book - Forty-five Organ Chorals is an edition of the Orgelbuchlein composed from 1708 to 1717. First published in 1940 this volume is translated in English and French and features the annotation of Marcel Dupré a French organist to help the performer get the most of this sheet music. These Forty-five Organ Chorals were all written with a religious theme (Advent Nativity New Year's day Purification of the Virgin Passion Good Friday Passion Easter Whitsuntide). This volume can be used byintermediate players and above.

Modern French composer organist and improviser Jean Langlais (1907-1991) studied at the Paris Conservatoire where he won many prizes. He is best remembered for his Masses and Organ works Nine Pieces being no exception. Published in 1945 the Nine Pieces for Organ reflect Langlais ' compositional uses of Gregorian chant and polymodal harmonies. The Nine Pieces are entitled; 1) Song of Sorrow 2) Song of Joy 3) Song of Peace 4) Heroic Song 5) In quiet Joy 6) Out of the depths have I cried unto Thee 7) My soul longeth to depart in peace 8) Prelude on an Anthem and 9) Gregorian Rhapsody. Allmovements of Langlais ' Nine Pieces for Organ are highly modern yet provide an exciting and varied piece for the advanced level organist's repertoire.

Found among some music sheets bought in the auction of the effects of one Dr. Gehring this sonata is the nineteenth piece was considered as one of the best musical sheets found. The title Die Bänkelsängerlieder means The bench singer to be understood as the itinerant musician who is singing about the stories he witnesses every day.
