Moreover being an organist himself his Organ works are significant and remain ever-popular to this day. Clarinette Seule - Collection Aurore- Contemporary clarinettist and composer Serge Dangain has been a prominent pioneer of modern music on the Clarinet. His Songe for solo Clarinet provides a fitting introduction to modern repertoire. Dangain born in 1947 has won many prizes for his performances and compositions. The finale is a polythematic Allegro con spirit in a popular style. The world premiere was given by Hélène Sanglier on January 19 1996 at the Auditorium Francis Poulenc in Paris.

Brèves Rencontres by Jacques Castérède is a set of three pieces for Bb or C Trumpet and Piano. Written for the Paris Conservatoire contest the pieces are difficult (8° 9°) and last 8 minutes. The three pieces are: - Divertissement Allegro Brillante (tempo 120) - Pavane Andante Sost. (tempo 66) - Scherzo Allegro con spirito (tempo 112) Jacques Castérède (1926-2014) was a renowned composer and pianist. He has won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1953 and has composed numerous melodic pieces including ballets concertos symphonies ensemble andchamber music.
