Symphony for the Future was originally a soundtrack written for a multimedia spectacle with film light and laser effects. The soundtrack which initially consisted of 4 parts was played live by a symphonic orchestra and a pop group in sync with the screening of a film. The assignment was to reflect a message of hope and positive enthusiasm for the future using music and film as a mixed media. In this arrangement for wind instruments the 4 parts come together seamlessly. Jan Rypens has succeeded in producing an excellent orchestration of the piece.

This great number by the young artist Sven Van Calster was composed for the Antwerp-based trumpet band Blazerensemble - Deurne (B) especially for the recording of their CD.This refreshing and fairly simple but dynamic music was written for several instruments and can therefore be played by practically any formation. Surfin’ USA I get Around Barbara-Ann Good Vibrations-In 1961 the three Beach Boys brothers Brian Dennis and Carl went straight to the top of the charts with their first single called Surfin’. By 1966 the Beach Boys were even more popular that The Beatles thanks to the single Good Vibrations. Juri Briat has made an excellent medley of the songs Surfin USA I Get Around Barbara-Ann and last but not least Good Vibrations.
