POD- Released in 2005 the album Once Around The Sun is the outcome of Joby Talbot 's residency with Classic FM. During his year in residence Talbot composed a new piece of music each month scored for up to five instruments. The resulting twelve compositions were then premiered on Classic FM and were recorded on CD. March - Seed Capsule was the third piece to be composed and is scored here for solo Piano.

An arrangement of one of the songs from The Little Prince a fabulous moving and melodic opera by Rachel Portman with luxurious counter melodies and placid harmonies. This opera is based on French philosopherand aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery's novella Le Petit Prince an international classic penned in 1943. It was composed by Rachel Portman the first woman to win an Oscar for a film score (Emma-1996) with text by NicholasWright. While Saint-Exupery's moving parable of self-discovery is the foundation of the opera's appeal it is Portman's music that gives the work its dramatic impact. With a libretto written by Weir herself based on the cryptic supernatural short story Der Blonde Eckbert by Ludwig Tieck. This one act pocket version of the opera makes use of a Chamber group rather thana full Orchestra and omits the chorus. 'Eckbert and his wife Berthe live in seclusion in the Harz Moutains. One stormy night Eckbert's friend Walther arrives and to while away the time Berthe tells him her lifestory. Walther mysteriously knows a great deal about Berthe' s early life and Eckbert's suspicions grow eventually leading him to murder Walther during a hunting expediton. Consumed by terror and suspicion Eckbert retreats into seclusion and revisits the fairy-tale scenes of Berthe's childhood accompanied by a magical singing bird. He encounters the old woman who raised Berthe and at last learns the terrible truth about Walther Berthe and himself.' - Judith Weir

The full score of Arena II written in 1996 by Magnus Lindberg for Chamber Orchestra. The work is a version for sixteen instruments derived from it's predecessor Arena and was commissioned by the LondonSinfonietta with funds from the Arts Council the Aldeburgh Festival and the South Bank Centre.

A setting of the Liber Usualis plainsong for unaccompanied SATB chorus written for the Feast Of he Archangel St. Michael. The piece was first performed by the Chior Of Westminster Abbey in July 2004 at Tewkesbury Abbey. Afull Organ or Piano accompaniment is provided for rehearsal purposes only.
