Raymond Briggs' charming Christmas story about the adventures of a boy and the snowman that comes to life is a modern children's classic. The tales popularity has been further enhanced by frequent television broadcasts of theaward-winning cartoon film The Snowman . In this suite for Flute and Piano composer Howard Blake recreated the story in words and music based on the scenes from the film. The music includes the hit song WalkingIn The Air .

'According to Hindu Cosmology welive at the end of a cycle the Kali Yuga – the Dark Age. There are two important sayings of Christ that should accompany his disciples always during these challenging times. The first is “The Gates of Hell shall not prevail against my Church” (Matthew 16 v. 18); and the second “I am with you always unto the end of the world” (Matthew 28 v. 20). These sayings form the basis of this work which falls into two main sections each with the same structure and with linked material. Each section begins with Kali Yuga which I havetried to represent in a chaotic unstructured way in contrast to the cosmic Cries of Humanity to Christ (Kyrie eleison - Lord have mercy) and Christ’s responses from Saint Matthew’s Gospel. The work ends with a serene‘Coda’ of the sacred monosyllable “OM” representing the peace and beatitude of God’s presence. The intermingling of Christianity and Hinduism is an important simile for our times; in the same way early Christianity did nothesitate to incorporate Jewish and Greek thought.' - John Tavener

O Adonai was dedicated to Stanislaw Moryto. The antiphon was an award winner at the F. Nowowiejski ZAiKS competition in Warsaw in 1996. The first performance took place during the Gaude Mater VII International SacredMusic Festival at Czestochowa in May 1997 given by Schola Cantorum Gedanensis conducted by Jan Lukaszewski. The ATK Choir In Warsaw conducted by Rev. Kazimierz Szymonik recorded it in 1998 for the disk Musica SacraPolonia . The recording was later used as part of the composer CD entitled Missa Pro Patria For unaccompanied SATB chorus with divisions; includes a Piano accompaniment for rehearsal purposes.

Giovanni Palestrina's Missa Brevis for four unaccompanied voices has been edited and arranged for modern usage by Henry Washington. This edition also contains a piano reduction for practice purposes.

Geoffrey Burgon (1941-2010) was a British composer best known for his film and television scores such as Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Brideshead Revisited and Monty Python’s Life of Brian. He studied Trumpetand Composition at the Guildhall and At The Round Earth's Imagined Corners was dedicated to Bernard Brown his Trumpet teacher there. Written in 1971 it is scored for Soprano Trumpet and Organ. It takes itstext from a poem by John Donne the seventh of his Holy Sonnets .
