Arranged by internationally known composers/arrangers these ten pieces will work well with every instrumental ensemble imaginable including quartets of mixed instruments praise bands full band or orchestra and brass band. Designed to be playable by an average grade 3 (strong middle school or average high school) player each arrangement includes optional descant (fifth part) keyboard (with chords included for guitar) percussion (mostly drum set) and electric bass parts. These parts enhance the overall sound of the arrangements but are not required for performance providing theconductor with unlimited ways to use the arrangements.

If you have an old sousaphone and a baritonesax mouthpiece you can make a mighty Tyrann-o-Phone for the optional solo at the end of the piece. (Grade 1/2)

Christmas Medley-James Curnow's grade 1 holiday arrangement is an energetic exploration of four great carols. Nice counterpoint and stylistic subtleties help your band reach for a higher level of performance. Staccato full value detached accented slurred; it's all here. There is SO much you can teach your band in this arrangement! Plus it can also be used as an audience sing-along. Outstanding!

The exciting and the mysterious combine in unforeseen ways as we traverse the enigma of Colorado's Phantom Canyon . A provocative and unusual kind of music for the younger band to explore your musicians will find this newcomposition to be compelling and satisfying to play. There is also lots of potential for working with the history and geography departments with this one. Lots of color and interesting melodic cross-relations make this a greatteaching piece as well as an audience favorite. (Grade 2)

Jingle Bells-James Curnow's clever arrangement of Jingle Bells masterfully keeps the range and rhythm demands at a pre-grade 1 level while assuring that all the players have fun in the preparation and performance. Every sectionis fully involved and the low woodwinds and brass get a little special time all their own.
