for Mezzo-Soprano and Chamber Orchestra Full Score-The Human Rights Orchestra comprised of musicians from Europe's most prestigious orchestras asked Adolphe to produce this rescored and more compact version of his 2009 orchestrated song setting of the eponymous poem by blind Mezzo-Soprano Laurie Rubin. The title of this edition refers to its 2013 premiere in Lucerne Switzerland. ca. 15'

Full Score-Yevhen Stankovych is pioneer in the rebirth of the neo-romantic style in the second half of the 20th century. At the beginning of the 1980s he developed his own musical system which he calls “polyphony of layers”. Dictum for piano and strings isamong the works written in this manner composed shortly following the Chernobyl disaster. It is regarded as the only composition which adequately expresses the tragedy.

Stankovych's sixth symphony casts a dramatic arc across its unconventional continuous two-movement structure. Competing themes emerge in the brooding first movement the tension between them eventually leading to a powerful emotional climax midway into the piece. The second movement now stealing in on sustained violins assumes a more melancholy character as the themes introduced previously become intertwined and ultimately dissolve into a murmuring hopeful conclusion.

The six-movement work starts with a solo soprano and adds one additional instrument in each subsequent movement until the full complement is reached.

This collection of five 2-3 minute long arrangements/movements of the folk-melody Old MacDonald are done in the stlye of five different composers: I. Old MacDonald (J.S. Bach) II. Old MacDonald Menuetto (Haydn) III. Old MacSerioso (Beethoven-based on Opus 95) IV. Old MacDonald (Copland-in the style of Hoe Down) V. Old MacDonald (Adolphe). It is intended for educational concerts and the movements can be played in any order.

Hor che'l ciel e la terra for 24-Voice Chorus and 4 Percussionists is a re-imagining of the second work in Claudio Monteverdi's eighth book of madrigals Madrigali guerrieri ed amorosi (Madrigals of War and Love) published in 1638. The original a setting of a sonnet by Petrarch for six voices two violins and continuo is unquestionably one of Monteverdi's greatest masterpieces.

Commissioned by the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra this concertino was originally conceived as a part of a complete educational concertprogram. Four concertini each featuring a different instrumental family within the chamber orchestra are played in succession to demonstrate the characteristic sounds of those instruments. The music is thematically related but not identical to the Concertino for Chamber Orchestra (parts available on rental from the publisher) which serves as the program's closer demonstrating all of theorchestral sections playing together. This program is suggested by the composer for orchestra concerts however each instrumental concertino can beperformed individually and stands quite effectively on its own as a short chamber recital piece.

Infused with latin rhythms and improvisatory jazzlike passages for the trumpet soloist the mood of this single-movement concerto islight and effervescent. This work was awarded First Prize in the Doc Severinsen International Composition Contest andpremiered by the University of Tennessee Symphony Allen Vizzutti trumpet soloist. Length ca. 9. This large orchestra version includes two additional trumpet parts and one additional percussion. (Smaller orchestration available separately.)

This 14-minute concerto for Alto Saxophone and six instruments consists of a single movement of varying tempi and moods. The work was commissioned and premiered by the University of Missouri Kansas City's Musica Nova under the direction of Zhou Long.

from Symphonic Scenes of Chacumbele for Orchestra-Drawing on the composer's profound insight into the Cuban mythological and 20th Century historical figure of Chacumbeles this first symphonic scene depicts the main characters of the myth as youths. The work's musical tapestry is woven from the narrative which is rich in Yoruba mythology and leitmotiffs representing characters and events in the epic.

Full Score-A barcarolle is a musical form which describes a song or instrumental piece in a swaying 6/8 time sugessting the lilting motion of a Venetian gondola. Shcherbakov's Barcarolle for Piano and Orchestra is less a literal interpretation of the traditional form but rather a spiritual one which suggests floating along a winding canal which is at times serene and darkly ominous at others. The premiere was conducted by Volodymyr Sheiko with Maria Vichliaeva on piano.

The concerti by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart K 313 in G Major and K 314 in D Major represent two of the most important pieces for the flute. These Carol Wincenc publcations help students in their learning and preparation of these great works by utilizing a second flute part an effective practice introduced by her teacher Marcel Moyse. The second part serves as a useful tool in lessons at which no pianist is present to accompany the soloist and reveals to the student musical subtleties and concepts which would otherwise not have been possible to impart. The arrangements have been carefully written to be playable on historical as well as modern flutes and include Ms. Wincenc's owncadenzas that have been brilliantly honed by years of professional concertizing. This four movement work features the clarinet weaving melodies constructed in both Western equal temperenment and Persian modal systems. Most of the ensemble doubles on one or more instruments including the pianist and strings playing the chimes in various passages. Premiered on January 16 2016 at the Segah Festival of Persian and Turkish Music.

Reverie for Cello and String Orchestra was written for cellist Eru Matsumoto. Later the piece was reworked and incorporated into Gong's grand Fourth Symphony as Ode to Limpidity. The complete string orchestra score is available separately. String orchestra parts available on rental only.
