' We Will Rock You ’ ' The Show Must Go On ’ ' Fat Bottomed Girls ’ and ' I Want It All ’ are amongst the heavier songs in their extensive repertoire. Tom Stanford has used these rock songs to create a medley which will rock your audience!

for Clarinet and Piano-This work by André Waignein consists of a single movement divided into two sections each characterised by a particular mood. A warm flowing melody rhythmic dynamic sound effects and a virtuoso passage for the soloist to exploit and explore the possibilities of the clarinet as well as testing their technical skills. Virtuoso is also available for clarinet and concert band.

This work depicts the overwhelming enthusiasm joy and vitality that is prevalent in many concert bands. Following a solemn opening the piece builds until we hear the first highly energetic theme. The middle section seeks to emphasise the close bond and the deeper values which unify the members of the band. In the final section the energetic atmosphere of the beginning returns leading to a strong intense conclusion. Be careful this piece is very contagious!

In Señor Juancito the Belgian composer Johan Nijs tells the unusual story of a rich gruff nobleman who lives on a large estate and does not feel the slightest need to communicate with the outside world. However one particular day the people who live in the nearby village try to convince him to visit the annual village festival. At first he raises objections but the village people insist so finally Señor Juancito gives in and accepts the invitation. The people’s friendliness makes an impact on him and so in the end a new world opens up for him…

Bella Ciao is a traditional song of uncertain origin. Many versions have appeared over the years: the song now enjoys new popularity because of a dance version and as the theme for the NETFLIX Series La Casa del Papel . This dynamic arrangement was created by band director Tom Stanford.

Into Your Eyes was commissioned by the Nielse ConcertBand (Belgium) to celebrate its tenth anniversary. The band was formed through the fusion of two existing music societies by the late Michel Versavel who was the combined ensemble’s first conductor. This wonderful chorale is a hymn to his memory and is dedicated to the further growth and advancement of the band.

At the beginning of the eighties trendy English boy band Spandau Ballet made it big with hits like True and Gold. Millions of records were sold worldwide and the group became one of the most successful bands of the eighties. Why not bring a little 80?s pop magic to any concert with the zesty disco tempo and jazzy chords of this arrangement.

Lying on high calcareous sandstone rocks are the monumental monasteries of Meteora a region in northcentral Greece which look down over the valley of the Pinios River. This region inspired Kevin Houben to compose Valley of the Pinios . You can almost hear the wind swirl around the chalk rocks. The sacred atmosphere of the monasteries the prayers the solitude the grandness of the valley and the splendour of nature are all reflected in this inspirational composition.

In Broadway Impressions American-oriented music calls the tune. The introduction which is lively and spectacular immediately immerses us in the atmosphere of Broadway. All the sections of the band are presented with solo intermezzi for trumpet clarinet and percussion interrupt the flow of the piece. The work is concluded in a finale that takes us back to the initial theme - this time enhanced more abundantly. A fantastic tribute to the great musical scene that is Broadway and one not to be missed!

This finely crafted jubilant overture explores many ‘musical moods’ through its expressive rhythmic and melodic framework. The opening section is festive in character with majestic brass fanfares introducing the main theme.The middle section has a grandiose feel and the lively finale conveys extreme passion with the development of a delicate interplay between melody and rhythm. A welcome new piece for any concert.
