This hauntingly beautiful melody is probably the mostfamous to come from the pen of Czech composer Antonin Dvorák. Antonin Dvorak's Largo from the New World Symphony arranged for Piano Duet by Thomas Johnson.

With their imaginative piano setting their typical phrasing and expressive harmonic idioms the studies present themselves as the forerunners of the romantic character piece. The technically demanding figuration is mainly played by the right hand but often appears in short left-hand passages as well. Moroccan Fantasy was originally two pieces I wrote in the 1980s Shiraz and Gentle Dreams. Then in 1999 'star pupil' saxophonist Simon Haram wanted a new piece so I wrote Moroccan Fantasy based on the earlier pieces extending the harmonies of Gentle Dreams and giving Shiraz more of a Reggae feel. Young Scottish saxophonist Rowan Hawitt then heard Simon's recording and wanted me to make piano and sax reduction so here is Moroccan Fantasy in various arrangements for solo wind instrument and piano. All the pedal dynamic and tempo markings are suggestions only. All my music can be played in many different ways-the main thing is to make it your own and express yourself. Enjoy! Some believe it is the mad hallucinations of a drug addict (could be Poe himself) others see it as Poe´s equivalent of Dante´s INFERNO – a tale from the Underworld. One thing is certain though. DREAMLAND is a ”fantasy” the vision of a dreamvoyager arriving at and staying in a mythical location beyond and between space and time a place of strange majesty and surreal spectacles such as: “Mountains toppling evermore into seas without a shore”. Trio- An entertaining piece in the minimal style written for a trio of Boomwhackers or other alternative percussive instruments. Both a captivating musical texture and a visual feast the piece is complete with a demo CD performed by the composer's Pulse Percussion Project .

With this Violin Sonatina I completed a project of writing a work for each of the string sections. Rather than the usual three it is in one continuous movement. The fast agitato middle section is preceded by a slow elegiac introduction which recurs at the end of the work. The Essential Latin Collection for Guitar contains Latin songs and dances which in the main have become international 'standards'. During the 20th century much music from the Latin Americas was re-discovered and often re-produced with newly created titles and lyrics. The arrangements here are all based on the original traditional ideas and have become thereby new music for the guitar.
