Composed by Joseph Edouard Barat Introduction Et Dance was written for Bb or C Saxhorn and Piano. Written for upper beginners this piece is composed 1/3 by the introduction and 2/3 by the dance. Starting quite slow the tempo doubles when the piece becomes a dance. Very melodic and cheerful this piece is really enjoyable to play and hear. Joseph Edouard Barat (1882-1963) composed numerous pieces for winds and Piano accompaniment such as 'Andante and Allegro' or 'Oriental' among many others.

French violinist and composer Jean-Joseph Cassanéa de Mondonville (1711-1772) was a young contemporary of Rameau. De Mondonville was successful in his day Dominues Regnavit being no exception. Best known for his Operas and Sacred music De Mondonville 's compositions won the composer the post of Master of the Music of the Royal Chapel. Dominus Regnavit was composed in 1935 and is a Large Motet based on Psalm 92. With a typical performance lasting about 23 minutes de Mondonville 's Dominus Regnavit for choir is a sublime addition to the repertoire.
