This work was commissioned by two fanfare bands from Loksbergen and Kortenaken in Belgium that have merged to form one single ensemble. This festive work has been constructed using two contrasting elements: a rhythmic fast theme full of character combined with a melodic sensitive and slow theme. The title refers to the enthusiastic fiery character of the opening passage the fast section and the renewed passion and drive that has been created due to the merging of the two bands.

Concert Suite-Deliverance is an exciting concert suite by Etienne Crausaz. The first movement is in the style of a siciliana starting out quiet and calmly then slowly building in excitement and energy. The second movement a scherzo allows for colourful sounds and timbres and is full of humorous musical elements and contrasts. The third movement the vivace presents a dialogue between the higher and lower registers of the band with plenty of time changes. Deliverance is an action-packed composition full of colour and contrast.

Along the River was commissioned by the Wind Band Kundl in Austria to commemorate its 225th anniversary of making music and spreading joy! To add a personal touch to this composition Hermann Pallhuber drew inspiration from the Kundler-Klamm canyon. The sights and sounds of nature particularly inspires him: the roar of the water winding its way through the canyon or the sun rising behind the mountain peaks. Breath-taking musical images will captivate your audience. All the movements in Along the River will challenge your band but reward them with a fulfilling musical journey.

As performed by The Corrs-The Corrs are a well-known contemporary Irish band. They take Irish folk tunes and dress them up with pop rock and Celtic influences. They also use a mix of contemporary and traditional instruments to create interesting sounds. Lough Erin Shore is one of their biggest hits to date and can become one of yours as well!

This original Christmas Suite by Filip Ceunen combines a selection of holiday favorites in new and interesting ways. O Tannenbaum (O Christmas Tree) Joy to the World and The First Noel will enchant and delight your audiences. This suite is very accessible and contains ample voice doublings making it sound just as good when played by smaller bands.

In Greek mythology the Phoenix is the son of the sun. He symbolizes immortality renewal and life after death.Spanish composer Teo Aparicio Barberán created an epic musical journey that starts with Lacerated Heart The Man I Want to Be and ends with New Times. The Phoenix also represents the present and future of one of the oldest orchestras in Valencia Spain Banda de Música de Enguera. Barberán dedicates The Rise of the Phoenix to his wife Sara.

Rhapsodia is a composition full of contrasts where listener and performer are pulled along together in a musical and emotional adventure. Many human feelings are expressed in the characteristic cinematic style of Robert Finn making this work an absolute must for every band.

‘Canzun’ is the Rhaeto-Romanic term for ‘song’ or ‘chant’. The work Canzun is based on two songs from the folk tradition of the Alps. In the middle movement we hear the Canzun della Sontga Margriata an old song from the Bündner Mountains about the legend of Saint Margriata. At the beginning and the end of the composition motifs from a Maria hymn from Vorarlberg can be heard. Thus two songs from neighbouring Alps regions are connected and developed together creating lively dynamic sections as well as lyrical lofty passages. The strength of the concert band gives room to wide expressive melody lines in many contrasting sound colours.

Symphonic Contrasts is an original composition in three harmoniously connected movements. The fi rst movement opens with a brilliant introduction and presents two themes that are developed simultaneously and become intermingled. The second movement is at a slower tempo and gives several soloists the opportunity to showcase their expressive skills. The last movement begins with a musical dialogue between timpani bongos and cymbals. Symphonic Contrasts has been selected as the set piece (2nd section - Brass Band) for the 2010 Lucerne Cantonal Band Music Festival Competition in Willisau (Switzerland).

This majestic processional march entitled Cortège de Bacchus (Procession of Bacchus) is an extract taken from one of the most popular scenes in the ballet Sylvia by the celebrated 19th Century French composer Léo Delibes. In this arrangement for brass band by Stephen C. Barnwell it can be used an ideal concert opener or for any festive occasion.

This timeless world-wide hit of the Flying Pickets has perhaps been arranged many times for all possible types of orchestra. However there are practically no arrangements for wind orchestras. Hans Vansant has arranged this jewel in an original way.

A Miniature Tone Poem for Band-This miniature tone poem for concert band is a sequel of Benjamin Yeo's earlier work Flight . Voyage to the End of the Earth depicts a voyage by ship across the sea. The music expresses the calm of the sea before the ship sets sail towards the horizon. The ringing of the ship's bell and the blowing of the ship's horn signal the start of the journey. Now we hear the lyrical song of the sea with lovely views of the ocean accompanied by whale song and seagull calls. Let yourself succumb to Mother Nature's beauty through this music! The piano part in this composition is optional.
