The Sultana Sheherazade however saved her life by interesting him in the stories she told him during 1001 nights. In his curiosity for the sequels of her stories he deferred the killing of Sheherazade from day to day until after the 1001st night he abandoned his sanguinary resolution altogether. In telling her stories to Shahriar Sheherazade made frequent use of the verses and songs of the poets and interlaced her narratives of marvels and adventures so as to link them together. Edited by C. Ernst Sachse (1813-1870) was a German composer publisher and virtuosic Trumpeter and Trombonist. He performed as both a soloist and in orchestras in Weimar London Leipzig and Holland. He composed several concertos and concertinos for Bass and Tenor Trombones and also wrote for orchestra and band. Best known today are probably his pedagogical works which are still used in many academies and conservatories.
