Having became well known within Spain he was refused permission to perform outside the country by Franco’s government. In 1957 he moved to the United States and founded the distinguished Guitar quartet Los Romeros with his three sons. Los Maestros (The Masters) is a collection of three songs for solo Guitar dedicated to Three Teachers: Copla - La Rueda - Baile (Couplet - The Wheel - Dance).
