To add a personal touch to this composition Hermann Pallhuber drew inspiration from the Kundler-Klamm canyon. The sights and sounds of nature particularly inspires him: the roar of the water winding its way through the canyon or the sun rising behind the mountain peaks. Concert Suite-Deliverance is an exciting concert suite by Etienne Crausaz. The first movement is in the style of a siciliana starting out quiet and calmly then slowly building in excitement and energy. The second movement a scherzo allows for colourful sounds and timbres and is full of humorous musical elements and contrasts. The third movement the vivace presents a dialogue between the higher and lower registers of the band with plenty of time changes. Deliverance is an action-packed composition full of colour and contrast.

This work was commissioned by two fanfare bands from Loksbergen and Kortenaken in Belgium that have merged to form one single ensemble. This festive work has been constructed using two contrasting elements: a rhythmic fast theme full of character combined with a melodic sensitive and slow theme. The title refers to the enthusiastic fiery character of the opening passage the fast section and the renewed passion and drive that has been created due to the merging of the two bands.

Solemnity gives expression to the different emotions that we feel at solemn official or ritual events: quiet pride hope and reflection but also grandeur stateliness and joy. The work contains one large construction with different high points whereby the main theme is varied or orchestrated each time in one way or another finally ending in an impressive finale.
