The last decades of the 20th century saw man's first steps in space exploration. Since the first moon landing by Neil Armstrong in 1969 these adventures in outer space have captured the public's imagination and have given birth to scores of science fiction movies books and TV series that have tackled the subject. Infinity and Beyond... takes as its inspiration the wonderful film scores of composers such as John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith who have almost invented a style which could be called 'space music'.Opening with a rhythmic bass figure Infinity and Beyond... begins with a robust introduction in 3/4 which leads to the main theme in 4/4 played by the full band. Ashort bridge passage utilising the interval of a fourth leads to a modal central section featuring first the trumpets and then played by the whole band; this in turn leads back to a repeat of the introduction until the main theme returns to bring the piece to a close.

B-Dur für drei Violinen und b. c.- Gottfried Finger (c 1656 - 1730). Many sonatas trio sonatas and chamber compositions for Wind and String Instruments are part of the compositional legacy of Gottfried Finger . Nowadays works for Wind Instruments especially for Alto Recorder are being published occasionally while works for Violin and Viola Da Gamba have escaped the attention of the researchers. One of the most remarkable composition from among them is the Sonata In B Flat Major for three Violins and Continuo whose period copy present in the library of Uppsala University served as a source for this edition. The piece is interesting especially for its unusalstructure as it is composed as a dialogue between the three concert Violins that are in contrast to the broadly set tutti. In solo parts the composer provides equal space for self-presentation for all three Violins. The edition was prepared by Miloslav Klement.

This edition includes a wealth of Classical and Romantic melodies in arrangements for two flutes. These arrangements stem from the 19th century and are by Ernesto Köhler Louis Drouet Wilhelm Popp Anton Bernhard Fürstenau and others. Where necessary the works have been transposed into a more suitable key and range for the flute. Due to the moderate difficulty they are well suited for teaching purposes.
