Jacob de Haan has composed a very interesting concert work with Pastorale Symphonique. Through music the composer reflects on one of today’s most important concerns the adverse effect on the environment caused by man. The work consists of two main themes; one symbolises unspoiled nature and the second the negative influences of man on nature. A constant interaction between both themes develops into a meaningful final “marche funèbre”.

For Clarinet Quintet-In the 1870s visiting American composer Henry Clay Work (1832-1884) from Connecticut happened to stay at the George Hotel in Piercebridge in the North of England and was told the story of the Jenkins brothers and the old clock. He was fascinated by the story and using it as inspiration composed a song which he published in 1878 after his return to the States. This song - My Grandfather?s Clock - is reputedly his own interpretation of the Piercebridge clock story and became very famous selling over a million copies. Japanese arranger Takao Shirikawa has produced this theme and variations based on the famous melody for four clarinets.

With this work commissioned by a prestigious girls? school with morethan a hundred years of tradition and history the composer aimed towrite a universal work with love as its theme. He succeeded in doingthis with Sinfonia - a delightfully charming interlude with a transparentsound and a striking melody.

Recital pieces - with piano accompaniment-The pieces in Concert Time are fun and varied: they have been written in diverse styles and different time signatures are featured. The piano accompaniments are included especially for live performances. The accompaniments are also on the CD - played on a real grand piano. There is a demo version of each piece as well. It invites all the faithful to come to Bethlehem to worship the newborn Savious. Although more than forty different English translations were made Oakeley's translation O Come All Ye Faithful was the most preferred with additional verses translated by W.T. Brooke. All in all the hymn has been translated into at least 125 languages and is one of the most popular of all Christmas hymns.

Après huit ans de bataille juridique menée aux États-Unis (1981-1987) Loulou Gasté obtient réparation en 1988 et une reconnaissance définitive de la paternité de sa chanson. En 1975 cette chanson a été réenregistréepar Mike Brant qui la réintroduit en France sous le titre Dis-lui . Il s’agit d’une des dernières chansons enregistrée par l'artiste avant sa mort. Feelings a fait l’objet de nombreux arrangements divers et variés. Cet arrangement de Roland Kernen reste fidèle à la version originale.

A walk around the rock is also an unforgettable experience.During a journey through Australia Henk Hogestein was inspired by this rock; he composed this robust rock number to cherish the memory of it.
