When Icicles Hang By The Wall is a poem by Shakespeare taken from Love's Labour's Lost Act V . It was set to music by Moeran and published in 1940 in a collection entitled four Shakespeare Songs (R76). It is scored for Female Voices (SA) with Piano accompaniment. Ernest J Moeran (1894-1950) was an English composer who followed the tradition of R. Vaughan Williams and John Ireland by collecting preserving and using many folk songs mainly from Norfolk Suffolk and Ireland.

The Toy Soldier is a delightful little piece taken from Fancy-Fair a collection of eight songs for young children by Peter Jenkyns . It is scored for unison Voices with Piano accompaniment. English singer composer conductor and musical director Peter Jenkyns (1921-1996) wrote many of his well-known songs with children in mind for the choirs of the schools he was headmaster of to perform at the annual St. Albans Schools' Music Festival. The excellent pieces by this writer of little art songs for the under 12s are well received and much anticipated by audiences and performers alike.

John Gordon Cameron (1900-1989) was a British composer who was at one time organist at St Mary’s Cathedral Glasgow and lecturer at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music. His collection of Six Preludes On Hymn Tunes for Organ was dedicated to Bryce Craig. It remains his most popular work with most of the preludes still commonly performed today. The well-known hymn tunes which inspired each piece are Rockingham - Bristol - Capetown - Martyrdom - Tune By Orlando Gibbons - Windsor .
